Youth Career Fair

 Too many students graduate without ever seeing what real careers look like. Often, they’re told to ‘go to college’ or ‘figure it out later,’ but aren’t given guidance, confidence, or exposure.

Rising Futures exists to close that gap. We want students to meet real people from their own community. People working in careers, trades, businesses, and entrepreneurship and to understand that there are many paths to success.

Building confidence, believing in yourself, and getting early exposure can make all the difference. This career fair is designed to give students those tools so they can make informed choices and feel prepared for the future

• Exposure to careers, trades, and businesses
   
• The opportunity to ask questions in a low-pressure environment
   
• A better understanding of college, trades, certifications, and entrepreneurship
   
• Increased confidence in their abilities and future options
   
• Motivation to start preparing now instead of waiting until graduation
   

The goal is not to tell students what to do —
it’s to help them believe they can do something.

Students will meet local business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs who are willing to have real conversations about:

• What they do
   
• How they got there
   
• What mistakes they made
   
• What students can start doing now
   

The focus is on real-world knowledge, not pressure or one-size-fits-all advice.

This event is about helping students understand their options and take ownership of their future.

• Students in 9th–12th grade
   
• Students who are unsure or have questions about their future
   
• Students interested in business, trades, technology, sports, healthcare, entrepreneurship, or military
   
• Students who want to build confidence and direction early
   

Parents and guardians are also welcome to attend and support their students.

Time: 2pm-4pm 

 Grades: 9th - 12th
